My name is Daniele. I have been an English teacher for several years and I have always loved paper. When I was a teenager I came across origami and from there I started collecting decorated paper, stamps, and making diaries/journals, paper flowers, books. With books came the curiosity to know how they were made.
Three years ago I learned (and I am still learning) the art of bookbinding. Then I received an order from the stationery store in my neighborhood to make permanent school journals, and as soon as I delivered it I decided I would start my own business: handmade notebooks.
I invited my sister to help me with the cover art and we are always coming up with ideas for new items. One of our ideas is to use paper consciously and make the most of the material, paying attention to quality and delicacy.
